The Sark JournalThe retreat for people who already live next door
From Guernsey, Sark is close enough for lunch. You can take the Isle of Sark Shipping ferry, walk to La Coupée, eat somewhere good and be back in St Peter Port that evening.
A Sark Soul retreat lasts five nights. The question is what five nights on retreat add to an island you could visit tomorrow.
Our guide to coming to Sark from Guernsey covers day trips and independent stays. This is the retreat case.
What the retreat price includes
The early shared-room price is £1,495 per person. The standard shared rate is £1,695, and the early single-room rate is £1,995.
The price covers five nights at the retreat house; vegetarian meals prepared by a private chef; yoga, pranayama and meditation each morning and evening; guided walks, wild swimming and island tours; an evening at Sark Observatory; the horse-and-carriage leg of the island arrival; ferry coordination; and support throughout the week.
Massage, Reiki, guided breathwork and cold immersion can be reserved separately.
What stays open during the day
The middle hours stay open around the guided parts of the week. Evening practice and dinner bring the group back together.
If you would rather arrange Sark yourself
An independent stay gives you the evenings and early mornings without joining a retreat. You choose the accommodation, meals and plans yourself.
On Sark Soul, the core parts of the week are already arranged and the middle of the day remains substantially your own.
One guest from the May 2026 retreat described that balance directly:
“We felt supported as individuals, not just as part of the group.”

The next retreats are planned for June and September 2027. The exact dates are still being finalised, and the waitlist hears them first.
From Guernsey to your first breakfast on Sark
The crossing takes about 45 minutes. You do not need a flight or several onward connections before reaching Sark.
Nadia meets guests at Maseline Harbour. The toast rack carries you up the steep hill, then a horse and carriage completes the journey to the retreat. The next morning begins with yoga. Breakfast follows.
