How we build

Ideas We Are Testing

New retreat concepts, published before they exist, so you can help decide what belongs on Sark.

Founded & hosted by Nadia · Small group yoga, nature and wellness retreats on the world's first Dark Sky Island

Most retreats are announced when they are finished. We would rather think out loud.

Sark Soul Island Retreats runs restorative retreats on Sark. Around that, ideas accumulate: weeks the island could hold that do not exist anywhere yet. Some of them deserve to be built. Some do not. The honest way to find out is to write the idea down, publish it, and ask.

How this works

Each idea gets its own page: what it would be, who it would be for, and what we do not know yet. Nothing on an idea page can be booked, and nothing is promised. When enough people tell us they would come, we build the idea properly. When they do not, it stays an idea, and we say so on the page.

On the table now

A witchcraft retreat

Sark carries a documented seventeenth century witch trial history, and its nights are genuinely dark, with no public street lighting anywhere on the island. Could a few days built around attention, intention, ritual and female autonomy mean something here? Read the idea, and tell us if you would come.

If you have one of your own

If there is a retreat you wish existed on Sark, tell us.

Until then, the retreat that does exist is a good place to start: why Sark, and the retreats you can join now.

Good to know

Your Questions, answered

Can I book anything on this page?

No. Nothing here exists yet. The retreats you can actually join are on the retreats page.

What happens to an idea after it is published here?

We read every reply. If an idea earns enough interest, we build it properly. If it does not, it stays an idea, and we say so.
